Beverly Macy, Co-Founder and Managing Partner

Beverly Macy is a seasoned executive in both
rapidly growing and mature companies. She successfully positioned an emerging
technology company for merger with a leading global telecommunications company
and also facilitated the acquisition of an entertainment company. Previously,
Macy spent 14 years at Xerox Corporation in a series of increasingly demanding
sales and marketing management positions where she was awarded eight consecutive
President's Club honors. Macy began her career at Wang Laboratories in software
development. She is an instructor at the UCLA Business and Management Extension
Program. Macy received a BA in English Literature from Stephens College. She
is active in community service and currently serves as President of the Board
of Directors for Friendly Hand Foundation in Los Angeles.
Mark Young, Co-Founder

Mark Young has broad expertise and a distinguished business background. He
has successfully started two ventures, one in the biotechnology industry,
which he
took public and one in the entertainment industry, which was later acquired.
He had a highly successful career on Wall Street, most recently with Morgan
Stanley & Co.
in their London office, and has extensive Wall Street relationships. Young
also spent seven years at Price Waterhouse Coopers, where he was a senior
manager
specializing in healthcare and emerging growth companies. Young is an instructor
at the UCLA Business and Management Extension Program. He received his BS in
accounting from Boston College where he graduated with honors. Young earned
his MBA from the Harvard Business School and has both CPA and CFA qualifications.
Jay A. Ruffin, Senior Partner

A graduate of Yale University, Ruffin comes to Y&M Partners from his
own firm, Ruffin and Associates, where he managed a successful consulting
practice
focusing on the energy, entertainment, healthcare and finance industries.
Prior to starting his own firm, Ruffin served as a partner with PricewaterhouseCoopers,
where he built a significant global operations practice and launched the firms
first ASP for start-up ISPs and DSL providers. Ruffin has also worked as a
partner for Accenture (then Andersen Consulting) and Deloitte & Touche.
In his 20-year career, he has developed extensive contacts in the finance,
healthcare, entertainment
and technology industries.
